About Me

Hi, I’m Donna–wife to my childhood sweetheart, mother of three grown children who have blessed me with nine grandchildren. And we all have pets–four between us. Family gatherings can be a bit chaotic but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I am a Memory Keeper. I love Scrapbooking, Genealogy and Story Telling. I read a lot, and spend a good amount of time on my computer doing all of these things. Housework isn’t as demanding as it once was–or maybe it’s just not as important to me. Adults don’t seem to make as big of a mess as the kids did and I can name my dust bunnies. I enjoyed cooking when all the kids were home, but never quite got the hang of cooking for two. I guess I’ve taught them well because my husband and grown son love to cook and do about half the time. They even do their own laundry. My son does fine, but my husband needs help in that department and I’d really rather do it myself!

I hope you’ll join me on my adventures saving memories, digging for my roots and documenting our life.

  1. Donna I love it! Don’t throw out there that you are “getting the hang of it”, cause you got it! I am still trying to get the hang of it. Just when I think I want to do something and think I know how…I don’t. So watch out, I may be asking for your help. I use to do a ton of scrap-booking. I think I scraped everything that could be. Got my genealogy done thanks to a ton of help from my cousin. And writing well you know about that. With me it’s writing, art, & photography. Anymore and I would have to shoot myself. I will enjoy visiting your blog. Sandy
